2003 has certainly gone by very quickly,
and it has been a bumpy ride for the Philippines and the rest of the
world. The top world newsmaker is, of course, the US-led war
in Iraq, and the capture of Saddam Hussein
months later.
In the Philippines, we were hit by the
SARS scare (but mercifully not by the virus itself). The
Oakwood Mutiny was a tense episode harking back into the days
of President Aquino, and the capture of renegade Abu Sayyaf
Commander Robot was a welcome relief from the slew of bad news
we've had.
Between President Arroyo's reneging on her
promise not to run, and Fernando Poe Jr.'s intention to run for next
year's presidency, 2004 looks to be an interesting election year for the
Philippines. Hopefully the economy won't be shot down with the
intense politicking atmosphere that pervades us now.
Back to the site. My upgrading to a new computer was the
main reason for the delay in web site updates. Because of the
difficulty in moving over the Frontpage theme for Photo Net, and
issues in installing Microsoft Frontpage 2003, I could not make an
update until November.
Overall busy-ness, laziness, Ranma ½, a
new-found obsession for Justice
League, and my participation in
Gamingforce Concert Hall's
composition competition led to my procrastination in updating the
site.
But now, I've tweaked the menu system, and
upgraded to version 5 of Milonic's very utilitarian
cross-browser DHTML navigation
menu, as well as rebuild the theme for this web site.

ado, I present the following new pages:
